Our Gainsborough Restaurant is named after the Gainsborough painting of local land lawyer, James Tomkinson. Its relaxed atmosphere and menu peppered with locally sourced ingredients and dishes are firm favourites with our regulars.

From Sunday roasts to Welsh Black steaks, spinach pancakes to homemade curry.

Gorgeous food in the restaurant. The lamb rump just melted in the mouth. Great service. A little quiet but actually it felt like we had the place to ourselves. A bit chilly - could do with more heating. But still just as good for our 15th wedding anniversary meal as it was 15 years ago when we got married there. Highly recommended
