
The sandstone trail is a series of footpaths which stretch across the high ridges of Cheshire. Willington Hall is situated at the joining of two of the three sections of the trail, and can be easily accessed at any time of year.

As well as just walking there are many other things to do within the forest. Throughout the year there are various events held in the forest, from open air concerts in the summer to the cross country events.
